ตัวเก่ายังคงอยู่บนเส้นทางของการโกยรายได้อย่างต่อเนื่องnRagnarok Online 2nประเด็นนี้สำคัญนะครับ เพราะในขณะที่เรากำลังจะเปิดให้บริการเกมอะไรก็แล้วแต่ หากมันคือภาคต่อของเกมเก่าที่กำลังติดลมบน โอกาสที่เกมเมอร์จะละทิ้งตัวเก่าแล้วมาเล่นตัวใหม่มันค่อนข้างจะลำบาก เพราะติดตรงที่เกมเก่าเขาลงทุนลงแรงกันไปเยอะ บวกกับคอมมูนิตี้ในเกมยังมีสูงและจับกันเป็นกลุ่มก้อนขนาดใหญ่ ที่เป็นเช่นนั้นเพราะคำว่า Guild War ยังคงค้ำคอของคนที่เล่น RO กันอยู่ ดังนั้นการจะหวังให้คนที่กำลังเล่น RO1 กันอย่างต่อเนื่อง หันมาเล่น RO2 กันมันเป็นเรื่องยาก นับว่าเป็นการบ้านกองโตที่ทางทีมงาน RO จะต้องตีโจทย์ให้แตกว่าสุดท้ายแล้วจะทำอย่างไรต่อไป เพราะหากทำสำเร็จ ดึงผู้เล่นจาก RO1 มาได้ แต่สุดท้าย RO1 จะเป็นอย่างไรต่อจากนี้ นี่แหละประเด็นสำคัญ เพราะฉะนั้นตัวเลือกที่ดีที่สุดคือการดึงผู้เล่น RO เก่าๆ ยุคแรกๆ ที่เลิกเล่นกันไปกลับมาอีกครั้งใน RO2 บวกกับกระตุ้นเกมเมอร์ลุ่นใหม่ที่ยังไม่เคยได้สัมผัสกับความมันส์ของ RO เข้ามาลองกันเยอะๆ แบบนี้ผมว่าน่าจะเป็นทางออกที่น่าจะดูดีที่สุดแล้วnRagnarok Online 2nแต่ถึงอย่างไรบางค่ายบางเกม เลือกที่จะปิดเกมเก่าเพื่อระดมเอาผู้เล่นทั้งหมดเข้าไปเกมใหม่ อันนี้ก็เป็นเรื่องที่น่าคิดว่า มันอาจจะสร้างความไม่พอใจกับเกมเมอร์พอสมควร
