ที่มาพร้อมปืลกลหนักและการป้องกันที่แข็งแกร่ง Officer หน่วยหัวหน้าสนับสนุนที่สามารถช่วยบัฟเพื่อนและวางป้อมปืนช่วยยิงในจุดอับต่างๆ และ Specialist หน่วยซุ่มยิงจากระยะไกลที่มีกับดักและกล้องมองไกลnซึ่งในเกมนี้นอกจากการฆ่าศัตรูให้ได้แต้มแล้ว การช่วยทีมทำภารกิจอย่างยิงสนับสนุนหรือเข้าไปวางระเบิดเปิดทางให้เพื่อนก็ทำให้ได้คะแนนเหมือนกัน คะแนนนี้เอาไว้ใช้แลกยูนิตชนิดพิเศษต่างๆเพื่อให้ได้เปรียบในการรบมากขึ้น อย่างเช่นยานพาหนะ ยูนิตที่แข็งแกร่งกว่าปกติและเหล่าฮีโร่ที่เราคุ้นหน้ากันดีจากในหนัง เช่น Han Solo, Boba Fett และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย ซึ่งยูนิตไหนที่แข็งแกร่งมากก็จะต้องใช้แต้มแลกมากตามไปด้วยเช่นกัน ฝ่ายที่ชนะคือฝ่ายทำภารกิจที่เกมกำหนดไว้ได้สำเร็จก่อนนั้นเอง ที่น่าสนใจคือผู้เล่นสามารถเลือกได้ว่าจะเล่นในมุมมองแบบ 1st person มองจากด้านหน้าหรือแบบ 3rd person มองเฉียงไหล่ก็ได้ เพิ่มความเปิดกว้างให้ผู้เล่นได้หลากหลายแบบมากnStar Wars Battlefront 2nส่วนอีกโหมดหนึ่งก็คือ Star Fighter Assault ที่จะให้ผู้เล่นได้ขับยานบินต่อสู้กันในอวกาศกันเลย ซึ่งน่าเสียดายที่โหมดนี้ไม่ค่อยมีคนเล่นเท่าใดนักทำให้อดทดสอบอย่างน่าเสียดาย เพราะใช้เวลาในการหาห้องนานจนเกินไปนั้นเอง ส่วนโหมดอื่นๆนั้นจะเปิดให้เล่นเมื่อเกมออกครับnStar Wars Battlefront 2nสำหรับอาวุธที่มีให้ใช้ก็ต้องได้มาจากการเปิดหีบหาการ์ดมาอัพเกรด และก็รวมไปถึงของแต่งอื่นๆด้วยเช่นกัน แต่ที่แสบไส้คือการ์ดระดับ SSR หรือหายากสุดนั้นเป็นการ์ดที่ช่วยเพิ่มค่าพลังให้กับหน่วยที่เราเล่นอย่างถาวร และกล่องในเกมนั้นสามารถใช้เงินจริงซื้อได้ด้วย Bioware ของ EA ซึ่งเป็นทีมเดียวกับที่สร้างเกม Mass Effect นั่นเอง โดยที่ผ่านมานั้นเกมนี้ มีการโปรโมทมาอย่างมากมาย ทำให้เกมเมอร์ดูแล้วเกิดความหวังว่ามันจะต้องเป็น เกมดีเวรี่กู๊ด อย่างแน่นอน
