แต่ยังไม่ทันที่เกมจะวางขาย ก็โดนถล่มยับจากรีวิวหลายสำนักnโดยตอนแรกนั้นตัวเกม Anthem มีปัญหาเยอะมาก แต่ที่เด่นชัดมากที่สุดเลยก็คือเรื่องของเวลาการโหลดของเกม ที่โหลดค่อนข้างนานและถี่ จนทำให้คนเล่นรู้สึกรำคาญ บางทีก็โหลดค้าง ไม่ก็เด้งออกจากเกมไปเลย นี่ยังไม่รวมกับบั๊กเกมอีกมากมาย ที่ค่อนข้างยาวเป็นหางว่าว ทำให้ทาง Bioware ต้องรีบปล่อยแพทช์ Day one ออกมาแก้ แต่ถึงอย่างนั้นก็ยังไม่ทำให้ปัญหาของเกมหมดไป ยังมีปัญหาใหม่ๆเข้ามาเพิ่มอยู่ อย่างที่เห็นชัดๆก็เรื่องที่คนบ่นว่า แพทช์ของ Anthem ทำให้ระบบ HDR ไม่ทำงาน
